Board of Directors

Jenell Ross

Jenell R. Ross is the President of the Bob Ross Auto Group in Centerville, Ohio, a position she has held since 2010. The Bob Ross Auto Group was the first African American-owned Mercedes-Benz dealership in the U.S., and today Ms. Ross is the country’s only second-generation African American female auto dealer. The group also represents Buick and GMC. Jenell not only serves the dealership’s customers but her local community, sitting on many civic boards and committees. She is a member of the University of Dayton Board of Trustees and the Will Allen Foundation and, until recently, served as the chair of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland (Cincinnati branch) and the American International Automobile Dealers Association as the first minority and the second female to lead this organization of nearly 10,000 dealers. A charity close to her heart is The Norma J. Ross Foundation, in honor of her late mother, which she founded to support underserved women affected by breast cancer and provide educational opportunities for area youth. Jenell earned her bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Atlanta.
